Environmental Education Day at Kocher Park

The Wildlife Management and Natural Resource Management classes took part in an environmental education day at Kocher Park, organized by Nicole Guise, Agricultural Sciences teacher. Students participated in water quality activities, macro-invertebrate studies, a water filtering simulation, and released the elvers they had been caring for all school year as a part of the Eels in the Classroom Program. Millville's Agricultural Sciences Program earned the distinction of Meaningful Watershed Educational Experience (MWEE) School of Excellence from the PA Association of Environmental Educators in March for their participation in the Eels in the Classroom Program, made possible by the Susquehanna River Basin Commission (SRBC).

Students that attended environmental education day were: Van Soltis, Samantha Shuman, Olivia Sylvester, Sierra Barton, Haylee Parker, Sydney McWilliams,  and Tommy Wary.
