SAE Spotlight Alyssa Brown, a senior agriculture student at Millville, is participating in the Growers of Today & Tomorrow Program sponsored by Global Teach Ag Network. Her host farm is Brian Campbell Farms Farmer Moofy's Produce Farmer Moofy in Columbia County. At her internship, she is learning about food safety, crop inspection, and managing pests. In these pictures, Alyssa and Brian were scouting green pepper and broccoli fields to determine harvest dates and if irrigation was needed. Alyssa says her favorite part of the internship is packing boxes for the food bank to help those in her community. We are so proud of Alyssa for all her hard work this summer and for going above and beyond to learn about global food systems!
